I pray that we never lose our drummer 30 minutes before service. I really don't have a backup plan. But you're right, God is in control and it's truly in His hands and all about Him anyways! We don't seem to have the right team to pull off Israel Houghton's stuff. Really would like to someday. Maybe when I figure out the whole Ableton Live loops thing, we might venture in a little deeper!
Marina, thanks for the comment. Yes,it was harrowing, but as I said, God worked it out!
And we ARE TRULY BLESSED to have so many multi-talented people on our team, especially when you consider our Sunday attendance is only around 120!
Oh, and trust me, our version wasn't anywhere near that of Israel's! But we muddled through it and praised God anyway! I find it very humbling and stretching as a musician to have to play beyond my abilities!
